The Junior Classical League is a national organization of high school students who study Latin, Greek, and the classical humanities. With members nation-wide and in several foreign countries, it is the largest classical organization in the world.
The Virginia Junior Classical League has over 4000 members and has been promoting service and the Classics across the state for over 40 years.
The goals of the Virginia Junior Classical League are to promote a more thorough knowledge of and a greater appreciation for Greek and Roman culture, tradition, language, and literature, and to interest other students in the study of the Classics.
