The VJCL Equity Committee is currently working in collaboration with many wonderful people on publishing a special edition Forum, focusing on how our individual identities influence our varied Latin and Classics experiences, whether positively, negatively, or somewhere in between. In this Forum edition, we want your experiences, artwork, poetry, and writing to be featured! We understand the sensitivity of these subjects, so share only what you feel comfortable with including. In that spirit, you may also remain anonymous if you wish. We are open to all ideas generally related to our theme of identity and experience in the Classics, and we encourage you to submit whatever you feel authentically reflects you and your story. Your experiences, no matter how momentous or mundane, tragic or triumphant, are welcome and eagerly anticipated! Send in submissions to the Equity Forum here. We are looking to hear from a wide range of voices from students (including college students) to teachers to people no longer involved in the Classics community. Whether you started taking Latin in 1970 or are currently a freshman in high school, we want to hear from you!
